Mike Wallace will soon be back with his teammates, ending his lengthy holdout with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Once things are settled, Wallace and the team will likely restart contract negotiations, with a deal on the table that may very well make him a happy man. On the field, Wallace has his work cut out for him. He has missed all offseason workouts plus training camp. He is months behind on getting acclimated with offense new coordinator Todd Haley is installing. There are new plays and terminology for him to learn, so things may start off slow with him out of the gate. With that being said, this holdout doesn’t affect his fantasy value in my eyes. The Steelers have virtually no running game to speak of at the moment. Big Ben might end up slinging it all over the field through out the season. There should be more than enough opportunities to go around for both Wallace and rising star Antonio Brown to both have significant impacts in the fantasy world.
