Will Maurice Jones-Drew Be Traded?

With Week 3 of the preseason schedule set to begin tomorrow night, all signs point to Jacksonville Jaguars Pro Bowl running back Maurice Jones-Drew’s hold out extending into the regular season.  Although the Jaguars have stated that they have no plans of granting MJD’s wish to be traded, that hasn’t stopped interested teams from placing preliminary calls on his availability.  NFL.com’s Ian Rapaport reported that although Jacksonville isn’t “actively” pursuing a deal for their disgruntled haflback, they are fielding numerous calls in search of getting a deal done.  Are there any teams out there willing to cough up the draft picks necessary to get the deal done while also meeting MJD’s contract demands?  That question will be answered within the next few weeks.  In the meantime, Maurice Jones-Drew’s fantasy value hangs in the balance …
