Russell Wilson Now the Favorite for Seahawks Starting QB Job

In what could be viewed as a shocker, rookie third round pick Russell Wilson has moved ahead of newly signed free agent, and the former back up to Aaron Rodgers, Matt Flynn in the battle for Seattle’s starting QB gig, this according to NFL.com’s Gregg Rosenthal.  I recently wrote that Wilson appeared to be the more dynamic choice of the two.  Sure, Wilson’s performances have come against second teamers, but Wilson has displayed game breaking ability that so far has been nonexistent in Flynn’s play.  Wilson gets his chance at securing the starting job for good this Friday when the Seahawks travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs.
