“Batman & Robin” Reunite

Both Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco, seen here in their only year together with the Bengals, are looking for new teams.

The Dynamic Duo of Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocino produced pretty good results. In 2010, they combined for 139 receptions, 1,814 yards and 13 touchdowns. Sadly, it would be their lone year together as teammates, as the Cincinnati Bengals would go into rebuilding mode and let both wide receivers walk as free agents at the conclusion of the season. Reuniting for a workout session this past weekend, TO provided an interview for OchoCinco’s News Network.

Some of the highlights include Owens stating that:

“Everybody’s hatin’ right now,” Owens said.  “It’s all good.  At the end of the day, I’m gonna be what I be.  You know what I mean?  I’m gonna be who I be.  I may be swept off right now, but, hey, myself, personally, I got all the faith in God.  Everything happens for a reason.  Everybody that doubts me, everybody that thinks this and that.  Hey, think what you want to think.  I know the truth.  There’s always three sides to a story.  Their side, my side, and it’s always true.

“I’m gonna still keep working. . . .  Eventually, I’m coming back. . . .  Everybody’s talking about what happened five, seven years ago.  It is what it is.  See my heart, not my past.”

While Ochocinco isn’t seen in the video, the fact that it was uploaded by his site serves a tacit support for Owens’ plight. Chances are, Ocho has a better shot at landing on an NFL roster this coming Fall than TO does. However, I’m still holding out hope that TO finds a taker for his services.

And for no reason whatsoever, here’s some illustrations of TO & Ocho, drawn up as Simpsons characters:
