Scott Fujita: Gregg Williams Words “Inappropriate”

Scott Fujita will site out the first three games of the 2012 season.

Scott Fujita has admitted to doling out cash payments to teammates for plays made during games. It has also been revealed recently that Fujita played a role in the release of the infamous Gregg Williams audio tapes. Fujita shared his thoughts on the words used by his former defensive coordinator.

“There are certainly things that are inappropriate that have been said,” Fujita said. “I’m not proud of things that were said by Gregg Williams, who, at the same time, is a man I respect and enjoyed playing for.”

Williams was seen as a master motivator by those who played under him. The words he used before that 2011 Divisional Playoff game versus the San Francisco 49ers will haunt him continuously. But he will always have the support of some of his former players
