And the Best Player In the 2012 NFL Draft Is …

… Alabama Running Back, Trent Richardson, according to NFL Films Historian Greg Cosell. While Andrew Luck is the People’s (and Colts’) Choice at number one, and Robert Griffin III is slotted at number two for the Redskins, they may not be the most sure-fire prospects available. Most teams prioritize need over obtaining the best player available. Richardson is arguably the best running back prospect to enter the league since Adrian Peterson. Remember what that guy’s rookie season was like? Yeah, me too. And if I’m any of the teams picking 3 thru 10, I wouldn’t hesitate to snatch this guy up & make him the featured player in my team’s offense.
